Shalom and heartfelt welcome! We are a warm, Torah-centered Messianic Jewish congregation in Springfield, Missouri, where Jewish heritage and faith in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah come together in joy, reverence, and truth.
Our Heart and Vision
At the core of who we are is a deep desire to create a safe and welcoming haven where Jewish people can joyfully encounter Yeshua—their long-awaited Messiah—and discover the beauty of His redeeming love as the perfect fulfillment of every prophetic promise given to Israel.
We also warmly invite Gentile believers to explore the rich Jewish roots of their faith, recognizing Yeshua as the flawless completion of God’s covenant with Israel. Above all, we seek to stir in every heart—Jew and Gentile alike—a profound biblical love for Israel and a clear understanding of our shared spiritual debt to the Jewish people, through whom the Messiah came as “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).
Our Story
Children of Jacob Messianic Synagogue was planted in 2018 by Messianic Rabbi Jeff Friedman and his wife Vixie after their family relocated to Springfield. What began as a small but passionate congregation has grown into a thriving community committed to authentic Messianic worship.
Today, under the leadership of Rabbi Ryan Stough, who stepped into the role of Parnas in 2025, we continue as a conservative Messianic synagogue. Rabbi Stough is faithfully guiding us into our next chapter while remaining true to our foundational calling: humble service, sound Torah teaching, and exuberant Messianic worship.

Our services blend the richness of traditional Hebrew liturgy and Torah reading with vibrant, modern worship. We joyfully celebrate the Biblical feasts and holidays as God appointed, all while proclaiming Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the world.
